#4 AC, the libs have always had a problem with "soft bigotry," its one of their core beliefs. I.E. - poor black folks are just too ignorant and unable to do for themselves, so they need our (the lib elites) enlightened views and largesse from the U.S. Govt in order to progress. Forget the tried and true American traits of hard work, determination, and pioneering spirit, just vote for your living.

#8 Correct, Lex, but money is far from everything in politics as the Democrats just proved. Kerry out fund raised Bush by a lot and couldn't find ways to spend it all to any positive effect, so he has a next egg for '08 or his life after Terayza.

They need voters and they're driving them away. Even in America the lawyers are not yet a majority.

Unbelievably stupid. And from the more "sophisticated" party. I'm beginning to think that the Dems will split after all: one DLC wing that can compete nationally (but cannot win in union-controlled big cities), and a fossilized Shrum-MikeyBoy-Jimmuh wing that sweeps big city councils, dominates Manhattan, Bay Area and the college towns and is next to invisible everywhere else.
