#1 Is that a first, Palestinians arresting rocket teams?

I didnt know Hamas was into policing, arresting, and jailing.

Another tidbit of interest, "rockets fired were not loaded with explosives."

#2 Hamas does arrest people for it from time to time, mossomo, to keep Israel from more enthusiastically raining punishment down on Hamas sites for not taking care of their reponsibility to keep the ~~peace~~ hudna. Hamas is the government, and like the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank has police as well as the usual terrorist military wing — though originally the personnel were inherited from the PA after the election Hamas won in 2006 or 2007.

Whether those arrested actually dunnit or are just the usual suspects is a different question.
