#2 the 191-member Assembly expressed alarm that serious instances of intolerance and discrimination on grounds of religion or belief, including acts of violence, intimidation and coercion motivated by religious intolerance, are on the increase worldwide and threaten the enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

What a scoop! Wonder what else they accomplished last week?

#5 Pakistan has, in its relatively short history, been one of the most egregious practitioners of ethnic cleansing.

It is disgraceful, but expected that the UN wouldn't notice this.

#6 I know! Lets setup a Comission! And make Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt, Syria, Iran, all comissioners!

Then they (and Kofi and his crew) can hold Conferences and lunchons to discuss it at length.

First item: Should Isreal be pushed into the Sea (sponsered by Iran).

That ought to solve the problem!

#7 CF: Unfortunately, the UN is beyond parody. Given the reality of the UN's Human Rights Commission and other efforts, you can't make this stuff up - they beat you to it.
