#1 The alternate health care is growing stronger in Canada. Doctors I understand are contracting with individuals. This would be for the ones able to pay. They are trying to put the care back in health. Government interference will impede service.
They should be compensated for the years of education and continuing education. License fees, insurance and hospital affiliation.

#4 I had a visit to Britains NHS last week...

Now it wasn't all bad, but most of it was.

Some of the staff were good, however it was obvious:
Bureaucracy was hampering
The processes were there but not right.
The flow through the building was all wrong
The queues were too long
There were too few staff
The Organisation wasn't there.
Noone was on the ground seeing the big picture, everyone was just fire-fighting.

Exactly what you'd expect seeing the incentives/structure. No wonder it kills so many. My initial contact with the first-line nearly killed me.
