He was previously an employee of Israel's Military Intelligence Directorate from 1977 to 1987 and an arms dealer.[2] He now lives in Montreal, Canada, and runs an international commodity exporting firm, Traeger Resources and Logistics Inc.[3]

He’s the one who leaked the Iran-Contra story to the press.

I was betting on a US/GB bilateral, but it could have been an IC ménage à trois....but what do I know ?

#10 It's not like he was a dedicated asset for a particular govt. Mercenary services of several kinds are employed by almost all apparatus around the world. Why, he could have worked for Russians, Chinese, Americans, anyone at any time and his immediate loyalties could have overlapped and intersected at any point. He was a service provider, plain and simple. He used his means to live this wild life, and wielded this power over compromised people and that's what got him killed. I assume there are several such service providers still in the US. They would enjoy the confidence of several bureaucrats and politicians.

Rich, powerful people need their indulgences and a safe space to enjoy what their power purchases. Men like Epstein supply that need and acquire information, favors, leverage etc over the years. Most of the time they do not even put it on the market at all.

I've read and heard about his stupid ideas of populating his estate with mini epsteins, spraying his sperm around. If the Israelis, or any credible agency was running him, mental instability alone would invite a 'termination'. The Farm people regularly choose to keep working with such unstable elements though.

#11 He was a blackmailer. He had the goods on a Son of Windsor. That alone would have warranted MI6's close attention if not involvement.

Add his intimate connection to the House of Maxwell and it seems even more likely MI6 were involved.

If the modern intelligence agencies of the US were more than pale shadows of their former selves, both in a capabilty and a moral sense, Hugo Chavez would have slipped on a banana peel on an up escalator and had a fatal concussion when his head hit the ceiling.

#14 Looking at the Zimbabwe story.. I think the guy is a cutout for spreading disinformation, kind of like Steele. Maybe he's right, maybe he's wrong, but at most it's probably a half truth told with a lot of malice. Best to not believe anything if you didn't administer the sodium pentathol yourself.
