#1 All the ship's passengers were rescued at sea, and that alone qualified them for a safe port under international law, the organization said.

...Color me skeptical, but I suspect the routine is that the colonists get out to sea, and meet the NGO boats who then 'rescue' them.

Cry me a river, numb nuts. It's not Italy's fault. Sometimes people need to take responsibility for their own mistakes.

#7 I stand with the Cuban boat people who can transit the Atlantic in modified antique Chevy trucks and require no rescue or assistance from mamby pamby NGO's. There is probably not a quality fastball or slider amongst the entirety of this 179 "rescued" passengers. I demand that all these people be returned to point of origin until it can be demonstrated that they can slug over .300 in High A ball.
