#3 Thank G_d, pursuant to common law (as recognized in both federal and state laws), that the Sheriffs all across the USA only answer to the PEOPLE who elected them, and do not have to kowtow to any state official, including governors, and are coequal in authority with federal agencies — superseding the federal agencies in the areas of their (typically county) local jurisdiction. I hope they are all locked and loaded.
