#1 With his beardless face brightened by a trendy orange shirt and matching tie, Saadeh Shalabi does not look like the typical up-and-coming leader of Hamas, the Islamic fundamentalist movement committed to Israel's destruction.

These propaganda reports are as predictable as a porn movie. The innocent faced Saadeh Shalabi does not look like the typical wild night of sex that he is....

Hamas, he says, recruited him because of his reputation for being honest. And if he was going to go into politics, he wanted to work only with "qualified professional people," he says. "I found those qualities in Hamas."

Actually, the mild mannered appearing engineer was recruited for his...um...big guns... if you get my drift.

Blah, blah, blah... as if anyone ever gets to the end.

I hold a secret belief that these NPR, BBC, Dark and Stormy Night articles are written in a little sweatshop by 3 or 4 writers who somehow manage to sneak out and moonlight as porn screen-writers to supplement their meager incomes.

The lie here they are attempting to feed us is that Hamas is a legit governing force. Yeah, right, and that 32 yr ol' Secretary in glasses and a bun was a virgin at the bar for the very first time only because she was a fair damsel in distress.

#2 I didn't know "most Fatah were honest". Wow, I so want to hang out with these guys, maybe we can play scrabble. Is there an Arabic version? Anyone from DLI reading, please let me know! - Covert Floridian

#3 Hamas: "It's a political party! It's a military wing! It's also a dessert topping and floor wax!"

#4 Still, says Mr. Othman, a real estate developer who was once active in Fatah, he found the local Hamas leaders to be straight shooters, so to speak....

Yeah, right. LOL!

#5 Except for the jew-killing and gun sex, Hamas is pretty much like any other community service organization here in the US.
