Not what I would call a smart demo...

But it did get a lot of Worldwide attention.

Plus it could allow certain government types to see if the data could be used for other reasons (offensive and defensive).

#3 When I was a teen, two military jets -- Tomcats, from memory -- flew over our house at treetop level. That is not an exaggeration -- one had to pull up a little to clear a stand of persimmon trees behind the house.

I wasn't butthurt -- I was curious as to what had them in such a hurry.
