#1 I like the Springfield 1911s that I have, but a tricked out 1911 for carry? I'd still rather have my SIG P227, thanks.

Effete author didn't like the sights, dust shield checkering, needed a magwell.

Dirty gun fired first time every time with aged ammo of inconsistent potency.
