#2 Don't laugh too much. Until his demise, Mr. Heselden was best known for the 'Hesco Bastion', used on every US military base in Iraq & on most NATO bases in Afghanistan.

I've wondered what would happen to a Segway if one wheel got off of a developed path in nasty terrain. It seems he found out.

Seriously though, he saved countless lives with his HESCO barriers and gave millions to charities.
