#1 Missouri's lst Congressional District:

#2 Sounds like that district's got the same problem that 4 of the 9 Mass. congressional districts have - no Republican opponent in the general election. Might be interesting (or depressing) to see how many districts in the US are running without an opponent on Nov. 3.

#3 Factoid: On the left of the map is the village of Weldon Springs and Busch Wildlife Center. Excellent rifle-pistol range out there. Many ponds for fishing, just don't eat the fish. Weldon Springs was an old WWII ammo plant. If they've not built a cancer hospital near the Springs, they should.

If you're moving to that area or know if someone who is, Chesterfield is pretty good bet. East of the Mississippi River in Illinois bad bet. A serious no-go zone. Don't even stop for gas.

#4 "East of the Mississippi River in Illinois bad bet. "

Ferguson exclaims that they win the best No-Go trophy. "I'm incensed that Illinois is seen as worse than us..I mean Chicago..yeah sure but around St. Louis..it's us!"

#5 East St Louis is like a third world country. Povrerty, gangs, violence, single political party run by the same families and cronies for years, no law and very little order unless you are part of the ruling elite.

#6 Ref #4: East St. Louis and East to Collinsville, not so good. East St. Louis, Illinois....never been a garden spot. Just worse now in the last few years or so. River Boat gambling not much help.

#10 Meanwhile, for some inexplicable reason, the 2020 census is expected to show the city of St. Louis dropping below 300,000 people.

1950 population was 850,000. Just sayin'.
