#5 These SOBs already have a firm grasp on private assets in banks, S&Ls, companies that run money market founds. All such can be seized by the gubmint with no notice. If/when the internet goes down, account holders will generally have no way to assess their funds. Cash buried in the ground is (so far) the safest way to safeguard your savings, and even that has vulnerabilities.

#8 It would be fun to take advantage of this ‘everyone votes’ leftist attitude. In DC there are currently less than one million registered voters. Import 500,000 foreigners that vote in their preferred candidate for Mayor instead of the democrat primary winner. It would great to see ‘Sum Ting Wong’ from mainland China as the next Mayor of DC

#9 This eliminates the failure mode of Ruby recycling the same ballot to meet the desired vote count before the water leak story falls apart. They have to have the correct number of fake ballots. That will be harder than you think. We are not talking about an Ocean’s 11 caliber crew by what I saw.
