#1 Batteries are used to store energy. Sometimes the energy gets loose. Really no different than a fuel tank depot.

#3 Not a bad plot for a spy novel. The ChiComs use ubiquitous Li batteries as incendiary devices with internet connections to start fires where/when they wish. Everything from cars to cell phones. Maybe a future Reacher novel.

#4 An oil storage tank is the devil I know. Lithium-ion batteries are the devil I don't know and, apparently, SDG&E doesn't either. Nor do the loony green energy politicians who don't seem to understand that so-called green energy isn't all that green. Nor do they have a plan for dealing with a lithium-ion battery fire other than to let it burn. Does anybody know the health consequences of breathing the smoke from such a fire? Kinda reminds me of Buttigieg and his East Palestine, Ohio train wreck.

#5 My mechanic's car repair shop caught fire and burned because a small lithium ion battery on the security system leaked and caught fire. 3 cars were destroyed as well as the entire facility.
