#1 The Dem candidate is supposed to have the opportunity to pander to the whacko base in the primaries before modifying all their positions to satisfy the Dem middle of the roaders after the convention. They have stood the process on its head and the base is upset. She is trying to signal to them that her core crazy values remain intact. Maybe she can blink a message to them in Morse code in her next scripted interview. Pulling that off would require a lot of sobriety.
