#1 So, Joey, have you ever been in a Dutch prison?

Are they like Chino or Rikers, where you learn not to pick up dropped soap? Or are they more like country clubs with wire around them?

How serious is the "no possibility of parole?" Can some judge order a release based on "overcrowding" like here?

#2 I suspect that life in a Dutch prison may not suit his tastes. Prisoners can get ugly when someone insults their sense of nationalism, such as viciously murdering a national celebrity. Imagine how your life would be in a Texas lockup if you brutally murdered Willy Nelson.

#3 Unfortunately prison administration policy is to isolate them from regular criminals (just like for pedophiles).

While we are at it one of the people in the Madrid bombings was transferred to another prison and there they forgot or "forgot" to isolate him: he was imediately attacked and nearly killed. There is even a good chance he will lose an eye.

The name of the movie : "Khochu V' Tyur'mu"
Translates as :
"I want to go to Prison"

It is a Russian movie (comedy) about a Russian who wants to go to a Dutch prioson because life is so good there...

He does everything possible to get put there and finally gets a 90 day sentence when he is convicted of a graffiti crime.
(He put a moustache on a public portrait of the Dutch Queen)

#7 Let's remember Van Gogh got the death penalty, no appeal, no due process. Yep, mighty civilized of the West. Just makes you feel ah so warm and fuzzy how noble it all is. Now tell me how we've done away with human sacrifice.

#8 Compare the cost of a bullet to his head (or other rapid ways to end the life of that proud Moslem) with the lifelong cost of keeping him alive, guarding him, and going through the motions of further trials.

We will loose the War unless Islamofascist are executed when found guilty of jihadist murder. The trial and execution shouldn't take more than 5 minutes: "Would you do the same again, Mohammed?" "Yes, infidel!" Bang!

Europe will only survive if they re-introduce the death penalty. The UK has taken a first step with their shoot-to-kill policy. Much more is needed. All Moslem leaders that preach jihad and the murder of non-Moslems should be tried and executed.

I f I walked around advocating the murder of anyone who doesn't abide by my personal favourite book, and some disciples of mine started doing it, I am sure I wouldn't last long. Why are Moslem calls to murder still tolerated?

#9 Dutch Prison? You mean "life without parole" or four years, whichever comes first. This guy will be on a book signing tour before Bush's second term ends.

The Dutch will be hewing wood and fetching water for their Muslim masters within 30 years.

#12 I think you will find a "life sentence" doesn't mean that. That term is used to refer to a fixed time period. There is no "life in prison" in most of the EU.
