#7 So far first storm (Brett) has not intensified and new forecasts are bringing it into central Caribbean and then weakening it below tropical storm status by end of next weekend. Of course this could change.

The second system (not yet a tropical cyclone) may prove more serious as it is moving somewhat slower and thus less affected by vertical wind shear but we'll see about that.
