#2 I'm sure they're temporary, like the temporary buildings constructed during the Second World War that still populate many of our military bases today.

#5 It makes perfect sense. The UN itself is intentionally ugly. Why shouldn't the building reflect that?

There's an impressive high-rise in Pyongyang that needs just a wee bit of work to finish. I think it would be perfect for the UN as a permanent new home.
