Social media guru Curtis Hougland is heading up Defeat Disinfo, and he received the funding from DARPA when his program was "part of an effort to combat extremism overseas."

Perhaps some US taxpayer "DARPA" funded research intervention could have helped prevent the current CV-19 unpleasantness. Oh WAIT !

#7 It is almost doubtlessly illegal for a number of reasons (the funding, the use, etc). But nothing will come of it, because "Resistance" to "Evil Orange Man" excuses any level of wrongdoing. Somebody could drop a nuke on Washington D.C., and as long as it wasn't a Republican politician, the Democrats would cheer as long as it killed Trump and Pence.
