#12 I enjoy the Waffle House from time to time. The local ones belonged for a time to a gentleman with a fondness for native wild flowers. About a decade ago he sold out and put his profits into a garden shop, but the new management is doing just fine.

Waffle House takes the tae kwan do approach: do a few key things very well, and don’t fuss with fancy flourishes.
