#1 Oh noes! Another air traffic control breakdown. What could be the cause? The article does not say. Neither, apparently, do any of the other online articles (or my google fu is weak).

This suggests the cause of the breakdown is embarrassing. Not just a routine oopsie like the cleaning lady plugging in the vacuum and crashing the computers, or backhoe fade from construction of a new parking log. Could it be Green Energy Follies, like the recent crash in Spain do to lack of dispatchable power? Or possibly system failure do to lack of working backup-systems? Inquiring minds...
