#1 I'm throwing the bullshit flag. Pelosi was replaced on the House Intel committee by Jane Harman in January 2003. In Feb 2003 Harman "filed a classified letter to the CIA in February of that year as an official protest about the interrogation program. Harman said she had been prevented from publicly discussing the letter or the CIA's program because of strict rules of secrecy." -Washington Post
I personally disagree with Harman's position, but she managed to get herself on record, using proper channels no less.
Pelosi is a 'hostage' of her own approval ratings, nothing more.
