#3 Japan has an enormous reserve of foreign assets, including dollar denominated assets. Individual persons and companies have purchased farms, manufacturing plants, commercial and retail properties, etc.

Not all of these investments have the same impact.

A jointly owned new LNG business would be great however.

#4 Japanese companies generally build bulk and expensive products in the US. The Prius, a global product, was designed by a US team in the US.
