#2 I suspect the Persians will pull in their horns for a while, perhaps several months, before they arrange for a "plausibly deniable" strike on US interests by one of their catspaws. Perhaps here, perhaps Israel, perhaps other places in the Mideast. But even though they speak Farsi, they know the meaning of hudna.
