PJ Media adds:
The policeman injured in the clash was treated at a Fort Worth hospital and subsequently released, which is excellent news.

CBS claimed that a “federal law enforcement source” had told the outlet a total of eight individuals were arrested, including many with body armor. The suspects reportedly launched fireworks as an apparent lure to draw law enforcement to the area where the shooting occurred.

The source told CBS News that early reports indicate that more than a dozen masked individuals dressed in black arrived at the Prairieland ICE detention facility late Friday night and vandalized vehicles and security cameras in the parking lot.

(ISIS) leaders were killed during the latest phase of a military offensive in the Calmiskaad mountains of the Bari region, significantly weakening the group’s presence.

The offensive, known as Operation Hilaac, entered its fourth phase this week after Puntland Counter-Terrorism Forces cleared ISIS fighters from a 420-kilometre stretch of mountainous terrain in northeastern Somalia.

Officials named the bandidos bandidos bully boys killed in Phase 3 of the operation as:

Somalia: Macawisley forces launch coordinated attack on Al-Shabaab near Gumare

Somali forces kill over ten Al-Shabaab militants in coordinated operations across central and southern regions

[ShabelleMedia] Somali security forces killed more than ten al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
bandidos holy warriors in a series of coordinated operations across central and southern Somalia on Friday morning, the Ministry of Defence said.

According to a ministry spokesperson, the first attack took place at approximately 5:45 am local time when al-Shabaab bandidos holy warriors launched an assault on Gumarre, near Moqokori in the Hiiraan region. The Somali National Army (SNA), supported by local community fighters, responded swiftly and engaged the attackers in a two-hour battle, ultimately repelling the assault and securing the area.

"More than ten bandidos holy warriors were killed during the clash, and Gumarre is now fully under the control of our forces," the spokesperson said in a statement.

Simultaneously, joint operations by the SNA and Macawisley fighters targeted al-Shabaab hideouts in Guulane, Daaru-nicma, and Alkowsar in the Middle Shabelle region. In Guulane, two senior al-Shabaab commanders — Mohammed Adow and Ali Xabad — were neutralised. Both men were accused of orchestrating attacks against civilians and extorting communities under the guise of religious authority, officials said.

In a separate operation in Moora Godan, Raaga Ceelle district, security forces dismantled a facility used by the group to treat maimed fighters and coordinate future attacks.

Further south-west, SNA troops launched offensives in Baani, Lafaale, and Abal, near the town of Xudur in the Bakool region. The operations forced bandidos holy warriors to flee their hideouts as government forces advanced.

Britain
Supporters of Palestine Action, banned under UK terror laws, arrested at London protest
[IsrelTimes] 27 detained for holding cardboard signs in support of anti-Israel group that was designated a terror organization after breaking into and vandalizing UK airbase

Police on Saturday arrested protesters in London for supporting the pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel activist group Paleostine Action, which was on Friday banned by the UK parliament under anti-terror laws.

"Officers are responding to a protest in support of Paleostine Action in Parliament Square. The group is now proscribed, and expressing support for them is a criminal offense. Arrests are being made," the Metropolitan Police wrote on X.

Campaign group Defend Our Juries said in a blurb that a group of 27 people, including a priest and a number of health professionals, had been arrested for offenses under the Terrorism Act.

They were holding cardboard signs, saying: "I oppose genocide. I support Paleostine Action," added the campaign group. Israel has denied all accusations of genocide.

Police warned on Friday that expressing support for Paleostine Action would be a criminal offense after the ban kicked in at midnight.

"This includes chanting, wearing clothing, or displaying articles such as flags, signs, or logos," said the force.

A spokesperson for Defend Our Juries said: "We commend the Counter Terrorism police for their decisive action in protecting the people of London from some cardboard signs opposing the genocide in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
and expressing support for those taking action to prevent it."

The terror designation cleared parliament on Thursday, with a court challenge by Huda Ammori, who helped found Paleostine Action in 2020, to try to stop it from becoming law, failing on Friday.

Judge Martin Chamberlain ruled against Ammori’s bid to pause the ban, meaning the proscription of Paleostine Action came into force Saturday.

Husain asked for a temporary pause until Monday pending an appeal, but Chamberlain refused, saying: "You are going to have to trouble the Court of Appeal tonight."

Ammori said in a statement: "We are seeking an urgent appeal to try to prevent a dystopian nightmare of the government’s making."

The government announced last week it would ban Paleostine Action under the Terrorism Act 2000, days after activists from the group broke into a Royal Air Force base and damaged two planes in protest against what the group says is Britannia’s support for Israel.

Two aircraft at the base were sprayed with red paint, causing an estimated £7 million ($9.55 million) in damage.

Four Paleostine Action activists were remanded in jug on Thursday after appearing in court over the incident.

Paleostine Action has condemned the terror designation as an attack on free speech.

Proscription would make it a crime to be a member of or to support the group, with a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison.

Man charged with setting fire to Melbourne synagogue as police probe terror motive
That was fast. An enthusiastic volunteer or was he paid by Iran?
[IsraelTimes] Angelo Loras, 34, of Sydney, who describes himself as Iranian, suspected of starting blaze at entrance to East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation building while 20 people were inside

A man suspected of setting fire to an Australian synagogue as worshipers ate dinner inside has been arrested and charged, police said Sunday, as they investigated if the attack was terror related.

Angelo Loras, 34, from the Sydney suburb of Toongabbie, is suspected of setting ablaze the front door of the busy East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation synagogue on Friday night while around 20 people were inside.

Victoria state police charged Loras with a string of offenses, including reckless conduct endangering life. He was not named in connection with two other attacks against the Jewish community that took place around the same time.

"The man allegedly poured a flammable liquid on the front door of the building and set it on fire before fleeing the scene," police said in a statement. "Detectives will continue to examine the intent and ideology of the person charged to determine if the incident is in fact terrorism."

The worshipers escaped unscathed through the back of the synagogue before firefighters doused the blaze.

Loras appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court and was ordered to remain in jug until a July 22 hearing. He did not apply for bail.

Loras describes himself on the social media platform X as “Single, Iranian, forklift driver, music lover.”
He forgot “ineffective but enthusiastic Jew-burner”. Think of how many girls would have called him for that.
The attack was the latest of a rash of incidents to target Jews in Melbourne and Sydney, much of it thought tied to anger over Israel’s actions in the Middle East, with Australian leaders vowing to crack down on perpetrators.

Police said they were yet to find a link between the synagogue attack and two other incidents targeting Jewish residents in Melbourne on Friday night.

In one instance, a group of about 20 anti-Israel protesters swarmed an Israeli-owned restaurant while chanting “Death to the IDF.” The protesters allegedly flipped over tables and smashed a window, according to local media.
No need to allege when there are videos all over the internet.
A police source, speaking anonymously to the Sydney Morning Herald, said that at least one of those involved is known to counter-terrorism police for being involved in violent left-wing protests. Police declined to comment on the information.

Also, cars were set on fire and daubed with antisemitic graffiti in a third incident in another part of the city.

Victoria Police Commander Zorka Dunstan said Saturday that all three incidents have “inferences of antisemitism” or anti-Israel activity.
My God, Commander — how do you do it? How do you just know???
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday condemned the synagogue attack, saying it was a “cowardly” act of antisemitism while Home Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said he had spoken to the Israeli ambassador in Australia.

Australia’s Jewish community, numbering around 120,000, has been among the hardest hit by the global surge in antisemitism since October 7, 2023. The country experienced more than 2,000 anti-Jewish incidents between October 2023 and September 2024, more than quadruple the number from the year before Hamas’s October 7 assault that sparked the Gaza war, according to the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

Carnage breaks out at Portland ICE detention center as woke crowd tries to storm holding cells
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Chaos erupted at an ICE detention facility in Portland, Oregon after hundreds of protesters attempted to storm holding cells.

Demonstrators were seen being tackled to the ground as officers deployed smoke bombs and tear gas to try and control the crowd yesterday.

Dramatic footage posted on X by independent journalist Katie Daviscourt shows flares lighting up the night sky, as protesters clash with officers in riot gear who appeared to fire rubber bullets into the crowd.

The demonstration occurred on the 28th day that protesters have been occupying the ICE facility in protest over Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Daviscourt confirmed the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and that several arrests were made. Daily Mail has contacted Portland Police Department for details.

The mayhem Friday broke out just hours after the President signed his so-called 'big, beautiful bill' into law - a sweeping $150 billion package that boosts funding for the border wall, ICE enforcement and deportations, while slashing Medicaid.

In downtown Portland, protesters staged a dramatic ‘die-in’ at Pioneer Courthouse Square, two miles from the ICE facility, to protest the brutal Medicaid cuts tucked inside Trump’s bill.
Those brutal cuts reportedly cut off illegal aliens and able-bodied men who refuse to go to work.
'They don't need more money and they're taking money away from things that we really actually need,' protester Mary Vanzant told local CBS affiliate KOIN 6 News.

The Grand Turk
Turkey detains three opposition mayors
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish authorities on Saturday detained three mayors as part of an investigation into corruption, state media reported. All three are members of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP).

The mayors of the southern cities of Antalya and Adana, as well as the southeastern Kurdish city of Adiyaman (Semsur) were arrested on charges of fixing tenders through bribing mayors and senior municipal executives, according to the state-owned Anadolu Agency.

"This morning, I was detained from my house in Ankara. I am being taken to Istanbul," Adiyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere said on X.

Zeydan Karalar, mayor of Adana, vowed to "continue the struggle" after he was detained.

The arrests are part of a wider investigation into alleged graft within CHP-led administrations, according to Anadolu.

Ankara mayor and CHP strongman Mansur Yavas blasted the arrests as a targeted campaign against the party.

"In a system where the law is bent and twisted according to politics, where justice is applied for one segment and ignored for another, no one should expect us to trust the rule of law or believe in justice," he said on X. "We will not bow to injustice, unlawfulness, and political operations."

In The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
’s 2024 municipal elections, Karalar received 46.7 percent of the vote, Tutdere scored 49.7 percent, and Antalya’s Muhittin Bocek took 71.4 percent.

The practice of dismissing elected officials has been ongoing for years. Dozens of mainly Kurdish mayors have been removed from their posts since 2016 and sentenced on terrorism-related charges for alleged ties to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which Ankara has designated a terrorist organization.

More recently, the AKP-led government has cracked down on CHP and other opposition mayors, detaining them largely on cases of alleged corruption.

On Thursday, a raid sparked by an alleged corruption case at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality - a key CHP bastion - resulted in the arrests of 60 people, including former Izmir mayor Tunc Soyer and the head of CHP’s Izmir branch Senol Aslanoglu.

In March, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu was sacked from his position on charges of corruption. Considered the main rival of Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
in the upcoming 2028 elections, his arrest sparked Turkey’s worst unrest in a decade, which in turn led to a massive crackdown on protests.

The dismissed mayors are replaced with state-appointed trustees.

Swedish gang leader arrested in Turkey
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish police have arrested Ismail Abdo, a Swedish gang leader and former associate of the Kurdish Fox wanted internationally for drug trafficking and violent mostly peaceful crimes. Abdo was caught with 19 others in an investigation by Ottoman Turkish and Swedish law enforcement.

"Ottoman Turkish police have in a police operation in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
today arrested a Swedish man who for many years is suspected of having conducted serious drug crimes and instigated serious violent mostly peaceful crimes in Sweden," read a statement from Sweden’s police on Friday.

"The arrest is a result of targeted work over time between Ottoman Turkish and Swedish judiciary. Swedish police have contributed to the investigative work that led to the arrest," Mats Berggren, acting deputy chief at Sweden’s National Operations Department was quoted as saying in the statement.

The investigation targeted three criminal organizations - one led by Abdo - resulting in the arrest of 19 suspects for drug trafficking and money laundering, according to Turkey’s state-owned Anadolu Agency, which named Abdo as one of those arrested. The multi-city operation took place in Istanbul, Adana, Mersin, Mugla and Antalya.

The joint operation also led to the seizure of 1.4 tons of drugs in Sweden.

Ismail Abdo, born in Uppsala, Sweden in 1990 and often referred to by his nickname "Jordgubben" (The Strawberry), has been a central figure in Sweden's escalating gang conflicts. His nickname stems from his family’s business importing strawberries into Sweden.

He is known for leading the internationally-active Rumba criminal network, which has been in a deadly feud with the Foxtrot network, led by his former close ally Rawa Majid, also known as "the Kurdish Fox." The conflict led to Abdo’s mother being killed by Foxtrot in September 2023. Rawa Majid remains a runaway and there have been reports from Sweden’s intelligence agency SAPO that he works with the Iranian government.

Abdo is also linked to the murder of Harris Lars Osterdahl in Bosnia-Herzegovina and international drug trafficking using the encrypted "Anom" communication program.

A Ottoman Turkish citizen, Abdo was arrested last year in Turkey for possession of a firearm. He was released on bail, despite being sought by Sweden. He was also wanted in Norway on suspicion of involvement in murder plots and drug offenses. Earlier this year, Interpol added him to its list of the world's most wanted criminals.

Swedish authorities have long sought Abdo's arrest, pursuing extensive cooperation with Turkey, according to Swedish media SVT. Due to his Ottoman Turkish citizenship, Sweden has also pursued a transferred prosecution, which would allow him to be tried in Turkey instead of Sweden.

, including eight people killed near an aid distribution site in the Strip’s south, according to Hamas’s civil defense agency. It was not immediately clear if the aid site in question belonged to the GHF.

Civil defense front man Mahmoud Bassal, who Israel has said is an active Hamas terrorist, said five people were killed in a strike on a school in Gaza City, in the Strip’s north.

Another strike near another school in the city where displaced civilians had found shelter killed three people and maimed around 10, including children, he said.

Many Gazooks have sought shelter in schools and other public buildings since the war began, sparked by the Hamas-led terror onslaught on southern Israel in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage.

Contacted by AFP, the IDF said it could not comment on specific strikes without precise coordinates.

The military says it is taking steps, including the use of aerial intelligence and precision munitions to mitigate harm to civilians, and accuses Hamas of embedding itself in civilian infrastructure, including schools.

Security forces nab 3 terror cell members they say were planning imminent attack
[IsraelTimes] 2 suspects arrested inside Israel, one detained in northern West Bank; operation carried out by elite police counterterror unit, Shin Bet agents and IDF soldiers

Security forces on Saturday morning arrested three wanted members of a terror cell who had been plotting an imminent attack, according to a joint statement released Saturday afternoon by Israel Police, the Shin Bet and the IDF.

The forces received the initial intelligence about the suspects’ whereabouts from the Shin Bet, the statement said, which led to a major joint operation carried out on Saturday morning.

According to the statement, officers in the police’s Yamam counter-terror unit and Shin Bet agents arrested two suspects within Israeli territory in Barta’a, an Arab village bisected by the Green Line.

Later that day, IDF soldiers disguised as civilians raided the home of another member of the cell in the northern West Bank, arresting him, the statement said.

The three detained suspects are to be questioned by Shin Bet officials, according to the statement.

Last week, the Shin Bet said they arrested over 60 Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
operatives over the past few months as part of one of the largest crackdowns on a West Bank terror network in recent years.

A senior Shin Bet official called the operation the "largest and most complex investigation by the Shin Bet in the Judea and Samaria area in the past decade," the Biblical term for the West Bank.

Indictments were filed against those suspects, accusing them of severe crimes, including heading a terror organization, and the equivalent of attempted murder and attempted conspiracy to commit murder.

Strip that triggered the ongoing war in the enclave, troops have arrested some 6,000 Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 2,350 affiliated with Hamas.

According to the Paleostinian Authority health ministry, more than 950 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time. The IDF says the vast majority of them were button men killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops or snuffies carrying out attacks.

During the same period, 51 people, including Israeli security personnel, have been killed in terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Another eight members of the security forces were killed in festivities with terror operatives in the West Bank.

Two U.S. Aid Workers Wounded in Grenade Attack in Gaza, Bibi,US blame Hamas
[LI] Hamas and UNRWA protecting their grift
Two American aid workers were wounded when a terrorist threw a grenade at a food distribution center in Gaza. The aid workers belonged to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a newly established U.S.-backed private food distribution organization.

"Two U.S. aid workers with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) were injured in a grenade attack during a food distribution event in Gaza, the organization said on Saturday," the Israel TV channel i24NEWS reported. "The Americans, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, are in stable condition and receiving medical treatment."

Netanyahu, US blame Hamas for grenade attack on Gaza Humanitarian Foundation workers

[IsraelTimes] PM says world must ‘stand up and condemn’ Hamas for ‘terror attack,’ urges UN to end boycott and ‘instead work in partnership’ to feed Gazans; IDF: Civilians were in area at time of attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Hamas on Saturday for a grenade attack that injured two American aid workers employed by the Israel- and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, and condemned the incident as a “terror attack.”

The US also blamed Hamas for the attack, saying it “lays bare the depravity” of the terror organization.

Early Saturday, GHF reported that two American aid workers were wounded when assailants threw two hand grenades at a distribution site in southern Gaza, blaming the attack on “hostile action by Hamas.” The organization said the explosive devices had been packed with ball bearings.

The IDF later confirmed that terror operatives threw grenades at a distribution center in Rafah, accusing “terror groups in Gaza” of continuing to sabotage humanitarian efforts, though without naming Hamas directly.

Civilians were still present in the area at the time of the attack, the Israeli military said, condemning the attack.

Netanyahu said later Saturday, in a statement from his office, that he wished to extend “a speedy recovery to the staff of the American aid foundation who were injured today in the terror attack carried out by Hamas terrorists.”

Netanyahu praised the GHF staff, saying they were “doing important work, and I thank them and [US] President [Donald] Trump for their support.”

He added: “The entire world must stand up and condemn this grave incident, which once again exposes the brutality of Hamas. The United Nations must stop opposing the foundation’s operations and instead work in partnership to ensure it can continue its mission safely for the benefit of Gaza’s residents.”

The GHF said in a statement that “the attack – which preliminary information indicates was carried out by two assailants who threw two grenades at the Americans – occurred at the conclusion of an otherwise successful distribution in which thousands of Gazans safely received food.”

The foundation has previously accused Hamas of killing at least eight of the agency’s Palestinian staffers.

Reacting to the alleged Hamas attack, US State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce said Saturday that, “This act of violence against the people actually bringing relief to Gazans lays bare the depravity of Hamas.”

“GHF has contributed over 62 MILLION MEALS – nothing will stop these courageous aid workers,” she wrote on X. “We are praying for the rapid recovery of the injured Americans.”

Israel has accused Hamas of hijacking aid deliveries by other humanitarian groups. The GHF, which in addition to aid workers employs private US military contractors to protect its distribution sites, says that since starting operations in May it has delivered supplies to Palestinians, while other humanitarian groups had “nearly all of their aid looted.”

The GHF bypasses traditional aid channels, including the United Nations, which says the US-based organization is neither impartial nor neutral, and forces Gazans to walk long distances to reach the aid.

UN Official: Iran accuses hundreds of Afghan migrants of spying

Richard Bennett, the United Nations
...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly...
Special Rapporteur on human rights in Afghanistan, has expressed serious concern over the arrest of hundreds of Afghan migrants colonists in Iran, including members of ethnic and religious minority groups, on allegations of spying for Israel.

In a post on X on Saturday, July 5, Bennett stated that Iranian police have accused Afghan migrants colonists of espionage and reportedly used violence during arrests. He also condemned the use of abusive and degrading language toward Afghan refugees by Iranian authorities.

Experts stated: "The post-war situation should not be used as an opportunity to suppress dissent and increase repression."

They acknowledged the impact of the recent military attacks by Israel and the United States and expressed concern over reports of executions, enforced disappearances, and mass arrests.

UN experts noted that since June 13, at least six individuals, including three Kurdish men, have reportedly been executed on charges of spying for Israel.

Several Afghan returnees have shared similar experiences, claiming that Iranian police repeatedly detained and accused them of being spies. These claims align with broader concerns raised by international human rights organizations.

UN experts have voiced worry that, in the wake of recent Israeli attacks, Iranian law enforcement has been targeting minority communities, particularly Afghan migrants colonists, through arbitrary detentions and possible torture.

According to multiple reports, dozens of Afghan citizens have been detained during recent cross-border tensions, accused of espionage without credible evidence or transparent legal process.

Afghanistan’s prolonged humanitarian crisis, following the Taliban

’s return to power in August 2021, has forced millions of Afghans to seek refuge in neighboring countries, including Iran.

Iran currently hosts over three million Afghan nationals, many of whom live in undocumented, vulnerable conditions, exposed to abuse, detention, and forced deportation.

1 killed, 5 wounded in 3 Israeli drone strikes in south Lebanon
[AnNahar] One person was killed and five people were maimed in three Israeli dronezaps in Leb
...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
's south on Saturday, the Health Ministry said.

A strike on a car in Bint Jbeil "killed one person and maimed two others," the ministry said in a statement carried by the official National News Agency (NNA), noting the toll was provisional.

A few hours later a similar strike on a car severely maimed two people in the nearby town of Shaqra.

Earlier Saturday, the ministry reported that a separate Israeli dronezap maimed one person in Shebaa, elsewhere in the south, with the NNA saying that raid targeted a house.

Israel has kept up its bombardment of Lebanon since a November 27 ceasefire that sought to end more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah including two months of all-out war that left the Iran-backed group severely weakened.
The Times of Israel adds:
The IDF announces that earlier today, its forces carried out a targeted strike in the area of Aynata in southern Lebanon, eliminating a terrorist affiliated with Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force.

Iran arrests 900 since start of Israel war: watchdog
[Rudaw] Iran

monitor stated on Saturday. A large number of arrests were in Kurdish-majority provinces.

"Widespread arrests continue across Iran despite the ceasefire declared ten days ago between the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran and Israel. Since the onset of the war, at least 900 individuals have been detained. Hengaw has so far confirmed the identities of 155 of those arrested," stated the Oslo-based Hengaw Human Rights Organization.

Most of those arrested are facing charges of "espionage for Israel," "propaganda against the state," or "disturbing public opinion," it said.

Kurdish-majority provinces in the west of the country saw some of the highest numbers of arrests - 127 in Kermanshah, 91 in West Azerbaijan, and 18 in Kurdistan.

Those arrested include women, minors, and eight Europeans and two Afghans.

The arrests have continued after a ceasefire came into effect on June 24. The Gay Paree-based Kurdistan Human Rights Network, which has confirmed the arrests of 250 individuals, warned on Tuesday that "security forces in Iranian Kurdistan continue to impose a harsh crackdown on Kurdish civilians and activists."

The Center for Human Rights in Iran said nearly 1,500 people have been arrested and are being put through "sham trials."

Iran’s judiciary has approved a fast-tracked bill imposing 15 to 25 years in prison and permanent bans from public service for sending images or videos to foreign media during wartime or security-related events, according to Hengaw.

The head of Iran’s judiciary on June 21 said that suspects accused of collaborating with Israel will face expedited trials and be given no leniency. At least six people have been executed, according to Amnesty International.

Iran has released several confessions of people accused of cooperating with Israel. Such confessions are widely believed to be coerced, often obtained through threats, psychological pressure, and, in some cases, physical torture.

Hidden consequences— revealed in today’s newspapers
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] Israel hid information about Iran hitting five military facilities, including a major airbase, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Israel is not required to inform her curious enemies of material information
In total, Iran struck more than 40 Israeli infrastructure facilities during the 12-day conflict.

As stated earlier, the full consequences of Iran's strikes on Israel and Israel's strikes on Iran have yet to be revealed, as both sides are hiding the military damage they suffered. Hence the pointlessness of comparing damage based only on published videos of strikes and statements by the parties. Some of the damage simply was not included in the videos or statements.

In fact, if satellite images from the war clearly showed traces of attacks on a number of airbases, they were not included in the videos and were not officially commented on.

PS. Yesterday, Iran received the first Chinese J-10C fighter with long-range PL-15 missiles. A total of 40 aircraft of this type will be purchased from the Chinese.

PS2. The IAEA spy mission officially leaves Iran after the law was adopted. She was not allowed into the facilities.

Published in today’s Times of Israel:
Report: 5 IDF bases were struck by ballistic missiles during Israel-Iran war

Satellite data said to reveal strikes on a number of bases, including an intelligence base and an airbase; number of successful interceptions decreased daily for first 8 days

Iranian ballistic missiles struck five IDF bases during the 12-day war with Israel last month, The Telegraph reported on Saturday for the first time, citing satellite data shared by Oregon State University.

Details of strikes on IDF bases and other sensitive locations are prevented from being published in Israel due to military censorship rules, as authorities argue that they could be used by Iran to better calibrate its missiles.

But according to the British news outlet, targeted bases included the Tel Nof airbase, the Glilot intelligence base, and the Zipporit armor and weapons production base.

The report was based on radar data obtained by The Telegraph from Oregon State University, which tracks bomb damage in war zones via satellites.

According to the report, five IDF bases were struck with a total of six rockets during the war between Israel and Iran, launched by Israel on June 13 to dismantle the Islamic Republic’s nuclear and missile programs.

In addition to the six rockets said to have struck military bases, 36 other missiles impacted inside Israel, having evaded interception by Israeli and S air defenses, killing 28 people, damaging 2,305 homes in 240 buildings, along with two universities and a hospital, and leaving over 13,000 Israelis displaced.

In total, Iran launched over 500 ballistic missiles at Israel throughout the 12-day war, The Islamic Republic also launched around 1,100 drones, of which only one impacted inside Israel.

While the overall interception success rate was high, the report found that an increasing number of missiles managed to slip through defense systems each day during the first eight days of the war.

All in all, The Telegraph said its data analysis indicated that by day seven of the war, around 16 percent of missiles were slipping through Israeli and US air defense systems.

The reason for the drop in interceptions was unclear, The Telegraph said, but it noted that Israel may have been choosing to save its interceptor missiles for when they were most needed.

The Wall Street Journal had reported during the war that Israel was running low on its Arrow interceptor missiles, and that it would need to start picking and choosing what to intercept and what to let through. The IDF denied the report, however, saying that it had prepared ahead of time with enough to handle the threat.

Another reason suggested by The Telegraph for the decline in interceptions was the type of missiles Iran was choosing to fire. It posited that these may have been more sophisticated, and therefore harder to shoot down.

There was at least one confirmed instance, on June 19, of Iran using a cluster bomb warhead to attack Israel, which dropped around 20 smaller munitions at a radius of around 8 kilometers (5 miles). One of the small munitions, with an explosive warhead of around 2.5 kilograms, struck a home in the central town of Azor, causing damage equivalent to that of a small rocket.

The IDF, when asked by the Telegraph about the reported impacts inside military facilities, said that it would not comment on the matter.

“What we can say is that all relevant units maintained functional continuity throughout the operation,” it said.
