Sadiq Khan clinches London mayor's post for record third time
Between his religious compatriots (it is forbidden to leave Islam on pain of death, so if his father or grandfather was Moslem, so by definition is he) and the chanpagne socialists showing off their broadmindedness, it looks like there were enough votes to continue to soft jihad of law and elections in London.
[GEO.TV] Pakistain-origin Briton Sadiq Khan has swept to victory in the London mayor’s election for a record third time as the polls results poured in Labour party's favour, BBC reported on Saturday.

Khan defeated his Conservative rival Susan Hall by more than 276,000 votes and won nine of the 14 constituencies including two gains from the Tories.

Sir Keir Starmer’s party continued to count gains after Khan's landslide victory against his nearest rival, in a contest dominated by criticisms of his decision to expand London’s ultra low emission zone.

Keir had signalled he was confident of Khan’s victory before declarations commenced, as he counted mayoral victories for his party in Liverpool, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and in Greater Manchester where Andy Burnham returned to power.

In a fresh challenge to the prime minister to call an election, Sir Keir said: "Fourteen years and, I am sorry, I don’t care which political party you support, if you leave your country in a worse state than when you found it 14 years later, you do not deserve to be in government for a moment longer."

Khan needed to win a simple majority of ballots cast, as the rules for the mayoral race were changed to a first-past-the-post voting system ahead of the latest election.

"Fourteen years and, I am sorry, I don’t care which political party you support, if you leave your country in a worse state than when you found it 14 years later, you do not deserve to be in government for a moment longer."
Khan's victory, his third in a row, was widely expected despite some public anger over knife crime and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), which charges drivers of older, more polluting vehicles a daily fee.

London is the latest of dozens of English councils and mayoralties that Labour has won in the local elections that took place on Thursday, inflicting heavy losses on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservatives.

Human rights activist Tursunbek Akun: a migrant must know the laws and culture of Russia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Kirill Velesov

[REGNUM] After the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, the discussion about labor migration from the former Soviet republics of Central Asia, control over migrants and interethnic relations intensified in Russia. Human rights activist from Kyrgyzstan, coordinator of the Congress on Human Rights of Central Asian Countries Tursunbek Akun, in an interview with Regnum news agency, said that he regularly comes to Russia, studies these problems and takes part in resolving them.

Tursunbek Akun was born in the village of Erki-Naryn, Tien-Shan district, Naryn region (now the village of Kulundu, Leilek district, Batken region). He worked as a veterinarian at the Naryn Stud Farm and was a junior researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR. In 1991 he became the executive secretary of the Democratic Movement of Kyrgyzstan, and in 2005 - chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. In February 2008, he was elected Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan.

— Tursunbek Akunovich, what exactly is your activity now?

— First of all, the protection of the rights and freedoms of our migrants from Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan. Migration issues. After the tragedy at Crocus City Hall, pressure on them increased, and cases of deportation became more frequent. As a human rights activist, I receive complaints about the infringement of the rights of our migrants.

On the other hand, Russia, of course, has the right to use force and deport foreigners. We have ourselves to blame! Our migrants make many mistakes: they do not know the language, do not comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation, and do not comply with the legal requirements of the authorities and security forces. Sometimes they arrive unprepared and do not know the customs and traditions of the Russian people.

We are all very hurt and ashamed by the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22, although it was committed by ethnic Tajiks.

More prepared people come from Kyrgyzstan: at least 90% know Russian. But from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - unfortunately, no.

I met with the head of the apparatus of the Russian Ombudsman, Tatyana Moskalkova, Vladimir Lozbinev in the Sverdlovsk region, in Yekaterinburg, and he told me: Uzbeks, Tajiks come - and their children, who are in elementary school, do not know Russian at all. Even worse, they unite in hooligan groups and attack Russian students.

Therefore, I say to my compatriots: prepare your children! At least basicly, learn Russian with them. You have no idea what a big problem this is.

But I repeat: there are almost no such complaints against the Kyrgyz. I recently held a meeting on this topic at the Embassy of Uzbekistan and talked with senior staff members.

— On Tuesday, April 30, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Mukhriddin. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan sent Russia a note of protest against the infringement of the rights of Tajik citizens in the Russian Federation, and also recommended that Tajiks refrain from traveling to Russia in the near future. Can you comment on this? What is the manifestation of the infringement of rights that the Tajik Foreign Ministry claims?

— Law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation sometimes go too far and make mistakes. But, on the other hand, before making a remark to another state, Russia, which provides us with the opportunity to work, earn money, feed our children, we need to think about our mistakes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan would do well to be critical of the mistakes of its citizens.

Didn't they see the migrants I saw? Not even children, but 17-18 year old boys and girls who don’t know a word of Russian, don’t know anything about Russia, and sometimes are nationalistically opposed to everything Russian. They are not even ready for life in such a large metropolis as Moscow. You can not do it this way!

I heard this in Moscow at a meeting with Russian ombudsmen for migration, and now I’m going to tell it in detail in Dushanbe and Bishkek. So before handing over notes of protest, you need to understand what is happening. I don't support this at all.

— You spoke about the nationalist views of some young people from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Do you know about cases of chauvinism against migrants?

- Yes, there were such cases. After Crocus, after March 22, this escalated. In addition, now some security forces and law enforcement officers, due to their chauvinism, are abusing their official powers. For example, they park a bus at the entrance to the metro, grab every Asian who gets out and take him to Sakharovo.

But, of course, we are not talking about mass chauvinism.

And again: I know about a large number of violations of laws by migrants. Many are without registration, without permanent residence, without registration, and work without an employment contract. The purpose of my trip is precisely this: to convey to everyone how important it is to know the laws, the Constitution, the language, traditions and customs of the country where you come to earn money.

A separate problem is drugs. In Russia there is very strict legislation in this area, and you definitely need to know about this and not fall for offers with promises of big money. Know exactly what you are carrying if you work as a courier.

— You are talking about traditions and customs, I can’t help but ask: how big a role does religion play in this issue?

- Very big. In the Russian Federation, about 25 million people are Muslims, they live well. There are no conflicts between different faiths, between Muslims and Christians. But those who come from Central Asia, most often from Tajikistan, some profess fundamental Islam, promote it, and there it is not far from terrorism.

Islam itself is a peaceful religion. The canon of Islam is peace, mutual assistance, goodness, as the founder of the religion, Prophet Muhammad, spoke about. What are they doing? They pervert Islam. I am telling you this as a Muslim.

— Do you agree that terrorism has no nationality or religion? This idea is still not obvious to society.

- I completely agree. Neither terrorism, nor murder or blackmail have a nationality or religion. The terrorists who attacked Crocus City Hall are, of course, Tajiks, but we know that they received the order from Ukraine, and America was behind it.

The collective West promotes Russophobia, wants to separate and isolate from the whole world - with sanctions and weapons. But Russia is on its feet, the economy is growing, and all because Russia is on the right path. And I believe that Vladimir Putin correctly announced a special military operation. I am not a citizen of Russia and probably do not have the right to praise the Russian president, but I think so.

— Do you think the root of all the problems we are talking about is the collapse of the Soviet Union? In the weakened and sometimes lost cultural and humanitarian ties between residents of the former republics of the USSR, in particular - Russia and Tajikistan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and so on? This raises the question of language, disrespect or ignorance of traditions, which you talked about. Are there any attempts being made in this area to bring closer together and restore cultural interaction?

- Yes, I think so too. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, our ties in culture, art, and literature were severed. Festivals, concerts, conferences - everything that plays a huge role, this has become critically scarce. How did we live in the Soviet Union? Together, with the ideas of solidarity and good neighborliness.

Recently, the leadership of Russia and the countries of Central Asia has been engaged in rapprochement in the political sphere: we have the CIS, CSTO, EAEU, SCO. But this is not enough.

We need as many projects and contacts as possible. For example, our artists from the Opera and Ballet Theater and the Philharmonic in Bishkek went on tour to Moscow last year, and Russian artists came to us. Therefore, we have fewer problems than our neighbors; Kyrgyz youth are drawn to the Russian language and culture.

But this is not enough. The whole world is now set up for disunity, for wars, for conflicts. Therefore, my goal as a human rights activist and goodwill ambassador is for there to be peace throughout the world, for friendship, dialogue and consolidation.

Hims and Hers loses $210 million in stock value after CEO says he is 'eager' to hire anti-Israel protesters
[NYPOST] Buzzy healthcare company Hims & Hers lost nearly $210 million in stock value in a single day after the company’s CEO said he and other executives were "eager" to hire anti-Israel student protesters who’ve faced disciplinary actions from their universities.

The online sexual health and pharmaceutical company plummet 8% on Friday from its opening price of $12.24 to $11.26 — just two days after Paleostinian-American CEO Andrew Dudum said companies would be happy to have the protesters and encouraged them to apply to Hims and Hers.

"Moral courage > College degree," Dudum tweeted on Thursday, amid the nationwide anti-Israel protests at universities that have seen more than 2,100 people arrested.

Hundreds more have been suspended or banned from campus activities for participating in the demonstrations.

"If you’re currently protesting against the genocide of the Paleostinian people & for your university’s divestment from Israel, keep going. It’s working," Dudum added.

Fifth Column
George Washington Students Hold 'People's Tribunal,' Call for Faculty's Deaths
[PJ Media] In the latest instance of these antisemitic, hate-spewing, miseducated twerps treating their intrusive thoughts like honored guests, students (and probably more than a few professional agitators, as we have learned) at George Washington University held a "People's Tribunal" putting many of the school's faculty on symbolic trial and demanding their deaths.

X account Stu Stu Studios posted footage of the scene featuring a girl speaking through a megaphone, leading chants calling out GWU Provost Christopher Bracey and accusing him of assault on top of the support for Israel and Zionism accusations, chanting, "Bracey, Bracey, we see you, you assault students too."

I do not know if they are confusing the title of "provost" within George Washington University's faculty as the academic supervisor with a supervisor of law enforcement (like "provost marshal"), but accusing Mr. Bracey of assault just adds another element of absurdity to this "tribunal" these kids are hosting.

Right after, the girl on the megaphone proclaims, "Off to the m*****f***ing gallows with you."

But hold on, it gets stupider.

The girl on the megaphone then accuses GWU's Board of Trustees of profiteering off the "genocide" of Palestinians, and after the other students loudly proclaim them "guilty," she yells, "To the guillotine!"

Finally, they also call for GWU President Ellen Granberg and her apparently "f****** bob [haircut]" to be under the guillotine as well for "using [their] tuition dollars to fund genocide."

Stu Stu Studios also posted a longer version, but the fact that these kids are openly and publicly calling for the deaths of specific people who can very likely hear them just underscores how insane these "protests" really are.

After all, these are the same students who vandalized the statue of George Washington on campus with a keffiyeh, Palestinian flags, and anti-Israel stickers, as my friend Catherine Salgado wrote about earlier this week.

That same day, Rick Moran wrote about the occupation of Hamilton Hall at Columbia University by students and agitators, complete with barricading the entrances and holding the maintenance workers in the building hostage for a few hours.

I had also written about students at the University of Wisconsin supposedly hailing Hitler at passing Jewish students, where they had also chanted, "There is only one solution: Intifada revolution."

The next day, I mentioned how Travis County authorities in Austin, Texas, discovered apparent weapons caches of chains, mallets, mallets, bricks, and even guns hidden throughout the site of the University of Texas's site of protest on the campus.

We have already seen students at UCLA get into fights from behind the little barricades they had built, and like Moran said earlier today, if you think everything we are seeing is bad now, just wait till summer.

Jewish teacher sues DOE over antisemitism at NYC high school
[NYPOST] A Jewish teacher who said she was terrorized by students at her Brooklyn high school — including with swastikas, death threats, Nazi salutes and Hitler-loving comments — has sued over the heinous antisemitism that school officials allegedly allowed to run rampant.

Danielle Kaminsky, whose alleged ordeal was detailed in a front-page Post expose about hateful incidents at Origins High School in Sheepshead Bay, claims bigotry was "effectively promoted and encouraged" there, according to the Brooklyn federal lawsuit from Friday.

Kaminsky, 33, a global history teacher, claims she was the victim of a slew of antisemitic incidents since the Oct. 7 Hamas
...one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,...
massacre — including an email she received saying, "All Jews need to be exterminated."

Teacher Danielle Kaminsky and campus administrator Michael Beaudry went to speak at a congressional briefing Friday as their suit was filed in a Brooklyn court. Marc Armas

According to the suit, from Oct. 8 through March — when Kaminsky was finally transferred to another school — students engaged in an array of "aggressive antisemitism" at Origins including marching through campus chanting "f—k the Jews," and "Death to Israel!" while waiving the Paleostinian flags, drawing swastikas on school grounds and glorifying Adolf Hitler
...late Fuehrer of Germany, founder of the Third Reich, currently communing with his pals Himmler and Heydrich. He is reincarnated every few days as a politician somebody doesn't like...
, the suit claims.

But when Kaminsky, 33, spoke up about it, the school retaliated against her, the suit alleges.

Campus manager Michael Beaudry — the other plaintiff in the suit — supported Kaminsky and made a bid for the administration to intervene, but was also allegedly punished for speaking out.

"The students conducted their campaign of hate within a New York City public school, emblazoned it in graffiti on its furniture, scribbled it on blackboards, circulated it in emails and text messages, and repeated it on papers and notes foisted on, and taunts directed at, Jewish teachers and students," the suit charges.

India-Pakistan
Pakistan can outperform India or even a greater economy with hard work. Really: PM
[GEO.TV] Stressing the need for expanding revenue collection, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said that Pakistain would leave India or even a greater economy behind with hard work.
and IMF loans boodle
His remarks came as the cash-strapped country’s tax evasion (revenue gap) was estimated to be around Rs5.8 trillion on an annual basis of fiscal year 2022-2023, which makes 6.9% of the GDP, according to The News.

On the other hand, India collected a record $25.15 billion as gross goods and services tax (GST) in April, recording a 12.4% surge from the same period last year, New Delhi claimed this week, according to Rooters.

Addressing a ceremony to award shields to the honest, hardworking and efficient officers of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), PM Shehbaz said that the country had the potential to collect revenues of over Rs24 trillion against the annual tax target of Rs 9.4 trillion.

He said an amount of around three-time of the annual revenue target was "going down the drain" due to corruption, inefficiency and negligence.

The premier said that the nations which believed in reward and punishment made progress.

Pakistain was facing various challenges, the premier said, adding: "Revenue collection is a big challenge. Neighbouring countries are far ahead of us."

Lashing out at the corrupt practices, the country’s chief executive said: "Recoveries that should add to the national exchequer are prone to corruption and fraud."

"We are compelled to seek loans and approach IMF."

Hinting at harsh accountability in the FBR, the premier said: "We will 'separate the white from the black' on the reports of agencies and the input of the organization."

"Justice is decided on the basis of merit," the PM said, adding that the the government would not show leniency to the corrupt officers.

"Shields are awarded [to the FBR officials] on merit."

Promotion would be given to the official on the basis of merit, he vowed.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Trump Puts The Kibosh On Creating A Palestinian State
[WIRE] Former President Donald Trump said during an interview this week that he no longer supports a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians following the October 7 massacre.

Trump made the remarks during an interview with TIME Magazine while discussing Israel’s military operation against the Hamas terrorist organization.

"I’m not sure a two-state solution anymore is gonna work," Trump said. "Everybody was talking about two states, even when I was there."

"There was a time when I thought two states could work," he continued. "Now I think two states is going to be very, very tough. I think it’s going to be much tougher to get. I also think you have fewer people that liked the idea. You had a lot of people that liked the idea four years ago. Today, you have far fewer people that like that idea. There may not be another idea."

Trump noted that Palestinian children are taught to hate Israel from the day that they are born, which makes achieving peace nearly impossible.

He also made clear that if Iran were to attack Israel, there is no question that he would defend and protect Israel.

Trump’s remarks about a Palestinian state come as Israeli leaders have also shut down the idea because of the obvious security risk that it would create for Israel.

In October of 2023 Gazooks belonging to Hamas invaded Israel, killed over a thousand people, raped a bunch of women. Then they bitched and moaned about genocide when their butts handed to them in the entirely justified retaliation.
