Massive explosion hits Russian Gazprom gas pipeline amid suspicions of sabotage linked to Putin's war on Ukraine
2022-11-20
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Enormous explosion hit one of Russia's major gas pipelines, sending flames and smoke billowing into the sky

  • There are fears it may be a 'tit-for-tat' after traces of explosives were found at the site of the Nord Stream blast

  • The fireball was visible for miles in every direction today after hitting about 14 miles east of St Petersburg

  • Swedish prosecutor claimed sabotage was the cause of the Nord Stream pipeline blasts of September 26

#6  Don't really know yet if this was actual sabotage or a maintenance issue. Assuming the latter at this point.

If sabotage, not necessarily the Ukr folks either. There's enough internal groups as well (remember the rail line sabotages this past summer?)

#5  The pipelines have to be tranporting at a less-than-optimum rate, which means that flow won't keep the lines cleared. The place to cut back on the flow is at the wellhead (yes there's valves there for it).
The production companies hate to do it that way because it involves sending hundreds of guys out into the boonies, and hope that they do it right. And then send them out again to turn it up.

#1  The West never gets it. This is the Russian war. The people support Putin. He is stronger now than ever. He did a five hour question answer session with all comers and covered many topics. The West has no leader who can match his stamina. The only one who could go toe to toe was Trump. Even with a prompter Biden loses his way.(Yet they have Putin dying for months now). The West has lost this war and it shows how they choose to deliver their sabotage as with a person writing graffiti on the bathroom wall. So UK chose to raise taxes on a inflation impaired economy. They are looking at years to recover. All to support a failed war destroying the lives of Ukrainians. Should NATO continue this, further erosion of associated countries will occur. Not Russia, China, India, Africa, Latin America and the Arab world. A world experiencing a dynamic polar shift.
