Sirhan Sirhan, in Prison in San Diego, Again Denied Parole in Assassination of Sen. Kennedy

...more fully Sirhan Bishara Sirhan, he was born to a Christian family in Jerusalem, is legally a Jordanian citizen following Jordan’s annexation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem in 1950. He murdered RFK because RFK supported of Israel (and possibly because of a race track head injury). His communism is extra. For a while Fatah’s Black September demanded his release every time they took hostages. Some of Aristotle Onassis’ relatives claim Mr. Onassis got him to do it...

the man convicted of assassinating Sen. Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, has been denied release in a parole hearing held at a San Diego prison.

Sirhan, 80, will be eligible for another hearing in three years, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Friday’s hearing took place at the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in Otay Mesa, where he is in prison.

It marks the 17th such hearing for Sirhan.

He was last denied parole in March 2023 for three years, with an administrative review of the denial resulting in his hearing date being advanced, according to corrections officials.

In 2021, a two-person state panel recommended that Sirhan be granted parole, but Gov. Gavin Newsom later reversed that decision, saying Sirhan "poses a current threat to public safety."

So maybe, Gov. Gavin Newsom real reason for denying the parole is that Sirhan poses a current threat to ~~public~~ Democrat safety.

BTW: There is also a Palestine vs Israeli connection. Sirhan Bishara Sirhan was born in Palestine and hated Israel. His parents immigrated here in 1956.
