Former Colorado clerk Tina Peters becomes first local election official to be convicted of security breach after helping 2020 election deniers

 [Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Former Colorado clerk Tina Peters, the first local election official to be charged with a security breach after the 2020 election as unfounded conspiracy theories swirled, was found guilty by a jury on most charges Monday.
Peters, a one-time hero to election deniers, was accused of using someone else's security badge to give an expert affiliated with My Pillow chief executive Mike Lindell access to the Mesa County election system and deceiving other officials about that person's identity.
Lindell is a prominent promoter of false claims that voting machines were manipulated to steal the election from Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...
His online broadcasting site has been showing a livestream of Peters' trial and sending out daily email updates, sometimes asking for prayers for Peters and including statements from her.
Prosecutors said Peters was seeking fame and became 'fixated' on voting problems after becoming involved with those who had questioned the accuracy of the 2020 presidential election results.

…"Defendant Darrell Blackburn, who worked in the now defunct elections administrator's office, has been charged with six felony charges, five of them tampering with the document, one theft by a public official."
"This individual was specifically assigned to see that paper was allocated properly see that paper was allocated properly.... The result is he didn't do his job for Harris County."
According to the indictment, Blackburn had a secret 2nd full-time job, and because of that, he couldn't properly fulfill his duty with Harris County. I don't really buy that garbage because the ballot paper shortage was deliberate to prevent Republicans from winning but it's at least good to see accountability every once in a while
