Trump did commit to that debate, but that agreement was made with Joe The Big Guy Biden

and his campaign, which no longer exists. Harris is attempting to usurp not only his candidacy but to force Trump to honor his agreements with Biden, only with her, as though the two are interchangeable.
"Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept. 10," Kamala HQ said on X. "The Vice President will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience." Harris has not given a presser since slipping into Biden's campaign at the top of the Dem ticket.
