Escalating Haiti gang violence chaos could trigger deployment of Marine security team

Fox News Digital has learned the U.S. State Department is requesting that the Marines deploy a security team to Haiti as gang violence continues to spiral into chaos.

#1 US Marines first occupied Haiti in July 1915, under President Woodrow Wilson. The occupation ended on August 15, 1934. After President Franklin D. Roosevelt agreed to disengage.
US occupation did not succeed then, and will do little now.
