The report states that Chinese nationals illegally crossing into the U.S. has increased 220 percent since last year

Migrants who cross illegally pay an average of $8,600 in fees to the cartels to be smuggled into the U.S.

Some migrants interviewed by Border Patrol officials admit to paying up to $60,000 to get into the U.S.

'Our Sector Intelligence Unit estimates that the weekly revenue for the illicit human smuggling in our sector alone, the Del Rio Sector alone, is in excess of $30 million a week,' U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens, told members of the House Oversight Committee.
