Hamas attacked, because Hamas believed - based on past experience, that USG will not allow Israel to properly retaliate.
What they didn't realise: being even dumber animals than their "Western" supporters; is that the monopolar world is dead.
With the rebirth of Russian empire, American decision makers dropped "Human Rights", "Spreading Democracy" and the rest of these pseudo-religeous fantasies in favor of the pragmatic "US vs Them".
So now Hamas scream about their "innocent" squaws & papooses and weep bitterly about being forced to strip to their underwear!

#6 I will still say this: Gaza is the size of 5 medium Montana (not the larger) Texas ranches.
The right size to support 10 adults and maybe 20 children plus a few hundred cattle.

Prior to the attack it was a welfare ghetto will full welfare mothers/fathers/kids mostly supported by the UN and oil money and 2.5 million welfare perps with nothing to do but kill, screw and praise a God only Satan could like. So they are over populated with 2.5 million after all these years on land that shouldn't support more than 30 people.

#7 There aren’t really 2.5 million people in Gaza, 3dc. The real number is probably on the order of 1.2 - 1.5 million. They’ve been exaggerating births and ignoring deaths and emigration ever since the Israelis left in 2005.

Still grossly overpopulated, but so is Hong Kong, and yet Hong Kong works. But they’ve never had a bread and circuses class.
