Once in office, a few of his friends found cushy jobs with the city, the windows kept getting broken, and Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg remained right where he was. Most people comfort themselves with the thought that he's not Bill di Blasio but that's pretty small comfort with kids who actually go to school getting bumped off while standing in front of them. But he's a Dem, so the rubes will vote for him next election too, so he's what they deserve...
says New York City needs more cops after years of officers leaving the department.
Look on the bright side: Y'got lotsa social workers.
"We can use more," Adams said on the "Morning Joe" program on MSNBC Monday. "I’m very clear on that."
But if you get more cops, arrests will go up.
"The numbers are down, but based on the numbers, no one does it better than the New York Police Department."

The NYPD has lost more than 2,000 uniformed officers over the last few years as the pandemic and anti-cop sentiment during the Black Lives Matter protests caused many to reconsider the job and resign or retire.

Prior to the pandemic, the city had about 36,000 uniformed officers, but that figure has dropped to 33,582, according to NYPD data.

There have been 613 resignations and 1,042 retirements at the NYPD through mid-August, according to the latest data available.

This year’s pace, though, appears to show the city has slowed the bleed of staffing from the department after last year’s record of more than 3,700 departures.

#6 It amazing how many 'retirees' are showing up here in the south. West coasters too. Whole families of cops. Totally serious.
They have to be trained on the different law situations (they love it) and the fact most everybody has a gun (kinda dubious about that, but if it works...), one thing they really like is people don't treat them like the enemy.
