Another class of Somali cadets graduate from Turkish military school

Federal Government of Somalia’s Defense Minister Abdinur Dahir Fidow Thursday officiated a pass-out ceremony for hundreds of youth who underwent military training at the Turk-Som defense academy in Mogadishu.
The military graduates will join the various ranks of the National Forces and reinforce government’s efforts to eliminate the al-Shabaab

Minister Fidow urged the new graduates to exercise their duties diligently and praised them for choosing to join the National Forces and defend their country and the people of Somalia.
The minister further thanked President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud for his commitment to restructure and equip the National Forces to enable it tackle the threat posed by the al-shabaab in the country.
He also extended his gratitude to the Ottoman Turkish government for their continued support for the National Forces through its continued training in various military areas.
