UN envoy to meet Nasrallah to discuss 'Israeli pullout' from Lebanon-claimed areas
Trying to put the UN’s thumb on the scales.
[AnNahar] A U.N. envoy of American nationality who is in charge of the Israeli file at the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
will visit Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
to carry out discussions related to the developments on Lebanon’s southern border, diplomatic sources said.

"Upon his arrival in Beirut, the envoy will request a meeting with Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
to propose U.N. ideas regarding south Lebanon," the sources told the Nidaa al-Watan newspaper in remarks published Saturday.

"The envoy will ask Nasrallah about Hezbollah’s stance if the international organization presses Israel to withdraw from Ghajar,
... a Lebanese border village that frequently appears in the story when Israel is attacked...
the Kfarshouba Hilla
...also in our archives as Kfarchouba, the village is a popular launch point against Israel, so it regularly needs pounding by the IDF...
and the Lebanese part of the Shebaa Farms,"
...that corner of the landscape given to Syria by Sykes-Picot, only Lebanon never accepted either their acquisition or Israel's conquest of it during the Six Day War — Israel calls it Mount Dov. But the UN or the International Court or someone official ruled it rightfully belongs to Israel, being as it’s south of the Blue Line that marks the border, so this is just Lebanese sour grapes and an ignorant American officially throwing her weight around...
the sources said.

"Based on this meeting, if it happens, and in light of Nasrallah’s answer, the course of things on the border between Lebanon and Israel will become clear," the sources added.

"Hezbollah’s erection of two tents in the Blue Line area of the Farms and Israel’s annexation of the Lebanese part of Ghajar came in preparation for the steps that are being mulled to achieve stability in that area that has witnessed tensions that peaked on Thursday," the sources added.

#1 No doubt Hezbollah, not the Lebanese Gubbamint (stop laughing), would move into launching positions upon Israel capitulation. I don't see Bibi caring what the UN says.
