Trump denies indictment reports, calls investigations 'election interference'
[GEO.TV] Former White House adviser Steve Bannon has been subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury investigating the January 6 insurrection.

The subpoena seeks both documents and testimony from Bannon, who previously faced contempt of Congress charges for not cooperating with the congressional January 6 committee.

Meanwhile,

Donald Trump

has been informed that he is a target of a criminal investigation by the Justice Department. The investigation focuses on Trump's retention of national security materials at his Mar-a-Lago resort and possible obstruction of justice. Trump's lawyers were notified of his target status, which raises the stakes for him.

Taylor Budowich, a former spokesperson for Trump, recently testified before a grand jury in Florida. He was questioned about a statement drafted by Trump claiming that he had returned all materials to the National Archives. The statement was not released as some of Trump's aides doubted its accuracy.

In response to the investigations, Trump strongly criticised the criminal probes into his actions. He referred to them as the "greatest and most vicious instance of election interference" in the country's history. Trump also labeled the federal and state prosecutors as "fascist

s."

Trump denied being informed about any indictment against him, stating that he had done nothing wrong. He made these comments on his Truth Social platform, stressing his belief that he should not be indicted. Trump's statement reflects his opposition to the ongoing investigations.

The investigations surrounding Trump and his associates have heightened tensions. An FBI raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence uncovered classified documents, adding to the scrutiny. Budowich's testimony highlighted his commitment to answering questions honestly and his condemnation of what he viewed as the government's weaponisation.

#1 If Trump is a criminal, he is an Alex Luther level mastermind. Here again, this is bad people trying to create a process crime. There probably won’t be candlelight vigils this time. The corruption of what they are doing no longer shocks us. Unfortunately for them, the mundanity of their evil will prevent them from fooling us going forward.

#2 After the Irve Lewis "Scooter" Libby perjury conviction I have been of the firm belief that Omerta is the best response to official information requests. Once you lose the Belief in Honesty about public officials...

#3 These days "lying to the FBI" is the trap they spring. For that reason alone, your only response, ever, should be "I have nothing to say."

#4 At this point, the entire project is about keeping Trump out of the White House for a return engagement. IF all they can charge him with is "Being Trump," you can bet that they will, and they will get a judge and jury that will give them a conviction on that, er, trumped-up charge.

Yeah. That's better. It conveys the contempt of which they are so worthy.

#6 Again, I must say the volume of "classified documents" in Washington DC is suspicious to say the very least. Why does our government keep so many secrets from us? Is it really a matter of national security or are the bureaucrats and politicians keeping us in the dark about all the crimes they commit? We pay the taxes that fund all of their operations so why won't they tell us what they're doing with OUR MONEY???

#7 You only solve this by vastly reducing the reach of the Federal gummint. We should have defense secrets and not too many others beyond that.

#8 Curious about the Biden classified document investigation(s)? DoJ bias and hypocrisy have no limits it would seem, but they do have a grasp of being brazen, and with good reason.

If Trump wins in 2024, there will need to be two massive federal program expansions, WITSEC and Bureau of Prisons Construction/Expansions.

#9 /\ The J6 pardons will free up some badly needed cell space. Hundreds more cells will however, be needed.

#11 The indictment game of classified "espionage" begins against Trump. They are counting on public ignorance of the nature of classified materials handling to allow much of it to be cloaked from public view, and I suspect a wide-ranging gag order early on in discovery.

This is the stuff of nightmares for patriots!
