Even one former execs said the company "lost track of the consumer" as sales of the low-calorie brew were down 17% in the week ending April 15 compared to last year.

"When you have these large corporations that have a historic brand identity, it just looks inauthentic when they’re all of a sudden getting involved in these social campaigns," Anson Frericks, who headed up the brewer’s US operations until last year, told the New York Times

#1 They just didn't target an "underserved demo", they purposefully cancelled their core consumer and did so in the most heinous way they could think of, in the same way Blackrock had massive ad buys on Fox News for the last couple of months. They are signalling their contempt and absolute determination to extinguish all vestiges of the USA as we knew it. Lost revenue? LOL - the Dems will see to it that they get compensated. #3 For some, drinking is an addiction that defies every attempt to change the behavior. It is hard to destroy brand loyalty in a vice market, but they certainly did. I salute these men and mostly women for their true genius in being terrible at a job that few people care about.

Anyways, a 'certain market' release is a tell that they knew exactly what they were doing.

Except, with the internet, there is no such thing as a 'certain market' release anymore. If they were serious people instead of favor hires they'd know that.

#5 When you realize how small the transsexual demographic is, pandering to them is beyond baffling
One our fellow Rantburgers said recently that about 8% of the population identify as gay or bisexual of that 8%, the transsexuals are maybe 4%
That’s a very small segment of the population
