Oregon state senator introduces bill to give 65% of Beaver State to Idaho, after conservative residents of 11 counties voted to join its GOP-voting neighbor

State Senator Dennis Linthicum introduced Senate Joint Memorial 2

Also known as the 'Greater Idaho' bill, it would move 11 counties to Idaho

The bill was introduced in the wake of Oregon's recent state elections

Democrats hold governor's mansion and majorities in the state legislature
...so it’s a feel-good effort that won’t pass.

Depending on the county, there will be 25% to 40+% LSD's mixed in.

What are your plans to handle those that opposed the move, and will attempt to bring their insanity with them?

#3 I'm not overly worried about the LSD %. Those folks in the eastern part are mostly ranchers and solid folk. Those LSDs in these counties will have to give up pot as it's not legal here...that might be an issue for them.

#6 Warthog makes a good point. Take those counties and kick Boise to E. WA. Those folks in E. OR would pump much needed red blood into ID. That should hold the state over until I arrive to establish Sturmpunkt Mundi, which will provide excellent access to the Heartland... with apologies to 746 for what CA has done to your fair state.

#13 Balkanization was the goal - and by all accounts they're going to get it. It's not just ID. The entire country has chosen sides. We are in the process of sorting ourselves out into our respective dugouts (which is where I'm at right now). They've got theirs, and we've got ours. Once that is done, well then we all get to ask ourselves if we're up for The Game.
