The suspect in the murders studied under a famed forensic psychologist

Bryan Kohberger was a graduate student of Dr. Katherine Ramsland until June

Ramsland has written extensively on murder as well as advised on TV shows

A classmate of Kohberger's in her class described him as 'very intelligent' but also 'seemingly detached.'

He is also a teaching assistant for the university's criminal justice and criminology program

#4 Last night I watched the Clint Eastwood film on Richard Jewell and the ‘96 Olympic bombing. My starting assumption with this guy is that like Jewell he’s guilty of fitting a profile. Everything else is tbd.

#5 Well. Any effort put into the "investigation" will be rayciss because the vics were white. How does a guy going to school halfway across the country come into contact with these people so much younger than him? If there is any sort of ongoing criminal activity among them all, who needs it covered up?

#8 The suspect graduated from DeSales with a Bachelor's in 2020 and a Master's in 2022. Moscow Police Chief James Fry said Friday that Kohberger attends Washington State University, which is only a few miles across the state line from Moscow.

DNA evidence played a key role in identifying Bryan Christopher Kohberger as a suspect in the killings, and officials were able to match his DNA to genetic material recovered during the investigation, a law enforcement official said. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the ongoing investigation.

WSU and UI are partners in several academic programs, and students sometimes attend classes and seminars or work at the neighboring schools. That doesn’t appear to be the case with Kohberger: University of Idaho President Scott Green wrote in a memo to students and employees on Friday evening that the Idaho school had no record of him.

DNA evidence isn’t always as clear cut as prosecutors and the FBI like to claim. 48 Hour Rule, guys, no matter how long that might actually be — so far the evidence is all circumstantial.
