Video shows a Florida man using his own baby as a human shield from deputies attempting to arrest him

Brandon Leohner, 27, was arrested on September 27 after attempting to kidnap his own child from his girlfriend's home in Palm Coast, Florida

The man took the one-year-old while in possession of a gun and is accused of driving recklessly with the baby on his lap

Leohner in body-cam footage can be seen holding his one-year-old close to his chest as deputies close-in on him

The man was eventually tasered and bitten by a K-9 before the child was taken from his arms and reunited with his mother

Leohner has been charged with kidnapping, reckless driving, using a minor as a shield, resisting with violence, and other charges
