Her acceptance makes her the youngest black student ever accepted to medical school

She is currently finishing up a pair of degrees in biological sciences at Oakwood University and Arizona State University, after graduating from high school at 12

#7 Once upon a time, I would find this story heartwarming. But the last half decade has turned me into a cynical old bastard and cynicism is the rule of the day. Ask yourself, given the current political climate, would you want to be the one to give this prodigy a B- on the Organic Chemistry exam?

Having worn glasses from a young age, I doubt anyone deliberately takes a power nap face down on a book wearing their glasses. Falling asleep during homework, I can see. That the caption says "Alena takes a power nap while working her way through some figures and calculations" makes me think someone is selling something.
