Male student in custody after reportedly bringing loaded, semi-automatic GHOST GUN into Maryland middle school and showing his classmates, triggering temporary lockdown

Isaac J. Gourdine Middle School in Fort Washington was locked down after the student was found to have a gun

The student was found in a classroom with a loaded Glock P80 semi-automatic handgun in his waistband that held 16 rounds including one in the chamber

Prince George's County Police Department arrived at the school and had the student in custody by approximated 8.50am.

The situation is under investigation by the police department

So the reporter does not know if it is a ghost gun but went with the term anyway. Since the cops are not following up the investigation I think it is safe to assume the gun was entirely legal and the term ghost gun was used to shock the British readers.

#8 Biden "Deeply Disappointed" In SCOTUS Ruling On Open Carry

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday morning struck down a New York state gun law that made it difficult to obtain a handgun carry permit outside the home in public for self-defense.

In an opinion penned by Justice Clarence Thomas, the court ruled 6-3 to strike down the New York law.

"Because the State of New York issues public-carry licenses only when an applicant demonstrates a special need for self-defense, we conclude that the State's licensing regime violates the Constitution," Thomas wrote for the court's 6-3 majority.
