Thousands gather in DC, New York, Parkland, and elsewhere to honor the victims of gun violence and protest to protect future ones

Parkland survivor and March for Our Lives founder, David Hogg, spoke to DC protesters and called for Congress and states to protect children

Major political figures, such as NY Mayor Eric Adams and AG Letitia James also marched alongside thousands of others

#1 Joe Biden claims he owns two shotguns. He once told Jill if she ever was home alone and felt threatened to walk out on the balcony with the double barreled shot gun and fire both rounds in the air (in 2013).

I just hope she is on the White House balcony if she ever does it.

#3 Notice they don't march against all the deaths on the roads and highways, which out number any gun related count. Or for that matter deaths in hospitals due to 'oops' which the CDC pegged at over a 100,000 a year. [Maybe because, the people pushing it all don't see those as a threat to their power]

#5 Using GVA numbers, if accurate, more than half of the deaths are suicide, 500+ are defensive use, 660+ are unintentional shootings, 299 are murder suicide.

#7 If you are going to commit suicide, do it in the culturally approved manner. Liquor yourself up and drive that car into a tree or lamp post or other inanimate object at 2am in the morning. It will never be reported as a suicide. Do not make it a murder suicide by driving into another occupied car.

#8 A certain percentage of suicides (and I'm not making light of this drastically serious problem) are "see what you made me do" acts. Doing it stealthily and ambiguously misses the entire point in those cases.

#16 If you really want to die, check into a hospital with a Covid case. They will find a way to kill you. It helps their bottom line. Hopefully, they can do it quickly as the meals get kind of repetitive after about a week in there. Suicide is not about prolonged suffering and poor cable variety.
