Former US Congressman (D-PA) Pleads Guilty to Election Fraud

[ET] A former U.S. congressman has pleaded guilty to several election fraud charges, including bribery and falsification of voting records.

Former Rep. Michael Myers (D-Pa.), 79, admitted to bribing an election judge in Philadelphia, Domenick Demuro, to illegally add votes for certain candidates, including candidates for federal and state offices.

Myers and Demuro, both Democrats, supported fellow Democrat candidates. Myers would receive payments from the candidates, by cash or check, and send a portion of the funds to Demuro.
And 10% for the Big Guy?
The judge of elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division in South Philadelphia would then add fraudulent votes for Myers’s clients.

"At Myers’s direction, Demuro would add these fraudulent votes to the totals during Election Day, and then would later falsely certify that the voting machine results were accurate," the Department of Justice said in a statement.
I'm supposed to believe this is the only time and place this has happened?
The fraud took place during elections starting in 2014 and going through 2018, authorities said.

Myers also admitted to conspiring to commit fraud with Marie Beren, a judge of elections for the 39th Ward, 2nd Division in Philadelphia. Myers acknowledged directing Beren to add votes to candidates he supported, including candidates for judicial office who had hired Myers.

Demuro pleaded guilty in 2020 to conspiring to deprive people of civil rights and using interstate facilities in aid of bribery. Demuro was supposed to be sentenced on June 30, 2020, but sentencing has repeatedly been postponed. It is currently scheduled to take place on June 14.
Arranging for the pardon.
Beren, another Democrat, pleaded guilty in 2021. The charges to which she pleaded guilty weren’t clear because the details are sealed. Beren was set to be sentenced on Feb. 15 but the hearing was postponed until Aug. 16.
Maybe she's gonna hang herself.

#4 I personally prefer not to post so-called 'pay sites' or sites that require registration. I get butt loads if SPAM already. Subject lines and lead-in snippets however, do permit the reader to quickly access other "free' sites without these annoyances.

#6 I have a subscription to the Epoch Times, so I checked out the article.

Bobby gave us the key information, sparing us the pontificating. An internet search of “Michael Myers (D-Pa.), 79, admitted to bribing an election judge” reveals lots of other articles on the subject, for those interested in learning more.

And then there are Bobby’s in-lines, always a pleasure.

I share the preference for links that are not behind a paywall or registration, but I have no problem with Bobby’s work.

Regarding what we were teased with click on a Pay Site.

Shouldn't the congressman be required to divulge a list of Civil Rights crimes and those elected officials be required to face a Special Election for their stolen position?

#8 I get the annoyance with the paywall thing, but jumping all over the person who links to such a site is a little off-base. There are ways around paywalls, and sometimes, depending on how you got to a site, you may not get the "gimme moneh gate-keeper." You may not even realize you just somehow got a free ride,

It happens.
