NYC Mayor Eric Adams delivered a speech April 26 on his first 100 Days in office

Adams said that both the public and good cops are 'frustrated' with lazy officers on subway patrols who spend time on their phones

He vowed to crack down on crime, saying too many New Yorkers died this year

Adams unveiled a $99.7 billion revised budget plan on Tuesday

The money will be geared toward homeless services, mental health programs, affordable housing and education

The former NYC police captain took office this year with a central focus on making the city feel safe post-pandemic

But violent crime rates have still been climbing since the pandemic

Felony assaults are up 21% than in 2021, robbery is up nearly 47%

Rape is up nearly 15 percent and the percentage of shooting victims is up 8%

Police work over Social media, I feel we all agree.

BUT, many times that call could be for police related work, or family emergencies.
So Mayor Adams is just playing the LSD Hate and Screw Police card differently.

I know us clod pickers ain't no such lerned as Mister Adams, but we use our phones on calls for a ton of shit, including DMs with person specific info not important enough for radio, or radio is such occupied, for locating teammates, environment updates, taking notes and photos/video.

Real life: Officer: "Can you re-play security camera # at 00:00 - 00:00+:15".

-Winds it up- "Do you want a copy of that timeline?"

-gets out phone, points at monitor- "Nah, just push play after I push play."

But you Kansas boys are assholes. Maybe; I'd grab a partner, go to one of those tunnel camps and/or hazard posts, and have partner record me recording the shit, and posting something about Waiting for You, Mr. Adams.
