The Alabama Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act makes it a felony for doctors to perform medical procedures or prescribe medication to minors who want to alter their appearance or gender

The criminal penalty would be up to 10 years in prison

The ACLU said the bill was the first of its kind to make trans healthcare

...not trans healthcare but preventing child grooming. Time enough for people to decide to permanently mutilate their bodies when they’ve settled into their adult selves...

#2 ..it is small government. Cuts all the government bureaucracy and medical funded practices that would set up to do the drugging and cutting like Planned Parenthood.

#3 Hey Groomer, going to cut out the parents on having a say in the kids having access to alcohol and tobacco too? Most states have laws about parents who give their kids those too. There is a reason. Same applies here.
