NYC Mayor Eric Adams apologizes for calling white police officers 'crackers' and bragging about outperforming them in 2019 video

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, 61, bragged about outperforming white officers while calling them 'crackers' in newly resurfaced video from 2019

'Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ a**,' he said at an even in East Harlem at the time

The mayor has since apologized for his 'inappropriate comments' at an unrelated press conference on Friday

The presidents of the Police Benevolent Association and Detectives Endowment Association said they still supported the mayor, despite the comment

The video was posted by Thomas Lopez-Pierre, who voted for Adams, wrote off the comments as 'how black people talk'
