Dashcam footage captures driver's wild overreaction as he shoots through his OWN windscreen at passing car whose driver threw bottle at him on Florida interstate

Eric Popper, 30, a civilian inspector for the Miami Beach fire department, can be seen shooting at another driver in Florida eleven times back in June 2021

The incident started when he cut off a fellow driver on I-95 in the Miami area

The other driver honked at Popper before tailgating him

In the video, Popper can be seen waiting for the other car to go past him before firing at his vehicle 11 times

The other driver told investigators that thrown a water bottle at Popper's vehicle while surpassing him

Popper turned himself in to the Florida Highway Patrol after quitting his job on July 21

#3 I thought the point of a dash cam was to capture events on the road ahead in the event of an accident. They are required for that purpose to get car insurance in Russia, I have heard, and YouTube is loaded with videos taken by dashcams facing thru the windshield out over the hood of the car. What's the point of the guy dash camming himself while driving? Narcissist much? Wasn't particularly helpful for him in this instance.
