New York State: White people told not to bother trying to get monoclonal antibody treatment because there is not enough to go around
Look for a flood of medical tourists hitting all the surrounding states, followed by an increase in the flow of emigrants. Or just an increase in self-identification as persons of colour.

  • 'Non-white race or Hispanic/Latino ethnicity should be considered a risk factor,' the document says in section marked 'eligibility' for the two types of treatments

  • The rationale behind the move, the org says, stems from 'longstanding systemic health and social inequities' supposedly subjected on other races

  • Such disparities 'have contributed to an increased risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19,' the health department goes on to state in the bulletin

A construction site safety manager in Queens said that as a Black man, he was more worried about the prospect of being stopped by the police than he was about getting Covid-19.

A graduate student in the Bronx who had not gotten vaccinated said her worst fears seemed confirmed when a vaccine that the government was directing to Black and poorer neighborhoods was briefly suspended over a small number of dangerous blood clots.

And a civil rights activist in the Bronx said he grew suspicious when he heard last year that politicians were prioritizing minority neighborhoods for coronavirus vaccinations.
